Let me first say, I am NOT the kind of person to write positive reviews on a product.  It takes an awful lot to get me to sit down and type out a praise letter.  However, the high quality of your product demands just such a letter.

I am writing a testimonial on the value of your CD’s and the information it provides.  I am HARDLY a car person.  I have always been a believer of the “as long as it goes, then I am happy” policy.  Needless to say, I was very nervous about buying a used truck.  With trucks, the options seem endless, the prices vary widely and dealers can be, as you say, unscrupulous.

After watching your CD’s, I feel I had a battery of knowledge to take on the dealerships.  Because of your information, I am happy to state the following:

·   By organizing my wants/needs as you suggested and referencing the web sites you provided, I was able to quickly “boil down” my choices to three trucks that would suit me well.

·   By using Carfax as you suggested, I was able to remove 3 of 8 trucks off my list IMMEDIATELY.

·   When I found the car I thought would be the one, I did the following:

o  Armed with everything from rubber gloves to a screwdriver, I gave the car a THOROUGH going over.  I think the sales rep was shocked when I pulled out a notebook and went through 6 pages of notes line by line. 

o  Because of the check list, I found a small issue with the truck tail gate not staying closed.  It was very very cold that day and, although I assumed it was just a little frozen, I was able to have their shop resolve the issue right there (it just needed a little lube).

Most importantly, because the car passed all the checkpoints, your product gave me confidence in my purchase!  I have never felt so in control of the situation.

I look out the window and still can’t believe I was able to get the EXACT car I wanted for such a great deal.  I have you to thank for that.

After the conference call I was amazed at what I learned. I'm glad I waited to buy my car, the first car I looked at had the "Clear" you spoke of peeling from the front bumper. The salesman told me :not to worry-it's under warranty, but I passed on it anyway and bought another car following the steps I learned.

I have to admit I was somwhat skeptical about what I would learn from the tele call. I am mechanically inclined and even do some of my own maintenance.
